3 pounds of beef (stew meat, round, chuck)*
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1 (6-ounce) can of tomato paste
1/2 cup of packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons of kosher salt
1 teaspoon of dry mustard
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker, cover and cook on high for about 7 hours. Shred meat and pile on toasted buns.
*Can also use 1/2 beef and 1/2 pork if desired.
