Sour Cream Lemon Poppy Seed Cake

Cake
1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
Zest of one large lemon
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/3 cup canola oil
3 large eggs
3/4 cup sour cream
Fig Glaze
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, poppy seeds and lemon zest. Whisk until well blended and make a well in the center.
To the well, add the oil, eggs and sour cream. Stir to blend well, scraping down the sides.
